I sent my fate to hell ages and ages ago as

the moon stood high over the grave of

my unborn child

i went down to see the cataracts that

erase every loving thought

that fill my heart with rage, that steel

my fist with courage

so where do we go from here?

there is no empathy left in a soul

that is willing to fight

there is no peace in a mind that aims destruction
